Since the Consituition of 1995 was signed, Phaluhm Phoueck has been a parliamentary democracy.
History[]
When Phaluhm Phoueck declared independence from the United States and the United Kingdom in 1946, Phaluhm Phoueck was a absolute monarchy, with the first monarch, Sultan Cham Khembyal Kaliybatan being the first head of state and head of government and then SultanNuyel Nattal Kaliybatan being the second and last. In 1979, the monarchy was abolished and a second consitution was signed in 1979. The new leader was Khem Hamal , which brought Phaluhm Phoueck into a dictatorship. He would make tough economical changes called Hamalisim. When Khem Hamal was overthrown in 1995, a third consitution was signed, stating that a Prime Minister was to have no more than two turns.

- Prime Minister: The Prime Minister is the most important person in the country. He or she is encharge of the Head of State and the Head of Government. The Prime Minister gets elected every four years and may only serve two times consecutively. The current Prine Minister is Royna Nehgyen.
- Deputy Prime Minister: The Deputy Prime Minister is a Prime Minister that can take a position of the current Prime Minister when he or she is absent. The curent Prime Minister is: Dahnel Tebahtchenyo
- Secretary of the State: The Secretary of the State is encharge of the Department of Foregin Relations and Department of Defence. The current Secretary is:
- Secretary of the Treasury: The Secretary of the Treasury is encharge of the Department of Finance and the Department of Industry, Agriculture and Trade. The current Secretary is:
- Secretary of Peoples Affairs: The Secretary of Peoples Affairs is encharge of the Department of Justice, Education and the Welfare. The current Secretary is:
- Parliament: The Parliament is the legislative body and the executive body of government. According to the Consitution of 1995, the Parliament is to be made up of lawfully elected citizens. The Parliament is made up to two houses, the Senate where proposing and debating are handled, and the Houses of Repersentatives, where voting on proposals takes place. Parliament is made up of 120 Members of Parliament, each repersent an LGA. Every LGA also has individual MPs for each party, such as one MP might be in the Senate, while another MP might be in the House of Repersenatives. The MP who is governing the LGA is repersentated at the Senate while the other MPs are repersentated in the Houses of Repersentatives. The MP's are elected by a Local Election.
