Kota Kambular (also spelt as Kuta Kambular) is a town and the capital in the state of Kota Kambular. Kota Kambular is a popular tourist destination as it is a popular beach and surfing location, also it has a soft climate, holiday atmosphere, and the local atmosphere.
Kota Kambular University was the study place for the current prime minister, Royna Nehgyen.
History[]
Kota Kambular was founded by the Bruneians as a plantation, but the Spaniards made it an settlement, and largely imported cotton, bananas and mangoes. During the British era, it had become a tourist area since 1889, with ads running as the capital of the sea.
In June 1952, the Chinese invaded and captured Kota Kambular. It was liberated in October 1952.
On 23 October 2015, Daulah Islamiyah Phaluhm detonated a car bomb aimed at killing the town's mayor. He was seriously injured but not killed, though two of his security guards did die, as did a newspaper vendor.
On January 28 2020, the city was partly destoryed by the Kambular tsunami. 55 people from the city was killed and several homes, buisnesses and shacks were destroyed. The JC Nala School collapsed, however an earlier warning issued at midnight prevented students and faculty from attending.

Kota Kambular is the capital of the state of Kota Kambular. It has two neighbourhoods, Kota Kambular and Sabola. The mayor is Nal Necesta. It has a Liberal National presence since 2004.
Tourism[]
Kota Kambular is popular for its tourism, largely in part of its location. Its beach is well known for its aquatic life and its perfect surfing location. In 2009, the highest wave was caught in Kota Kambular. There is also a surfing school, a resort, a plantation and two hotels. It also hosts a summer festival, It's more fun in Kota Kambular!

Kota Kambular is at the Southern Spirit Line. It is served at Kota Kambular station. Kota Kambular Bus Services also serve its nearby towns; Nuevert and Mahazam.
